The Azores, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, is an archipelago of nine islands. Its geodiversity and biodiversity is simply incredible. With waterfalls, lava tubes, crater lakes, black sand beaches and dense forest, the islands are home to a dizzying array of natural wonders, each surrounded by ocean teeming with marine life. The waters are home, or a pit stop, to many cetaceans species, including sperm whales, orcas, bottlenose dolphins and blue whales.

This remote archipelago may have a completely relaxed atmosphere but it abounds with adventures. With world class whale watching, dolphin spotting, diving, hiking, surfing and canyoning, there are many adventures to be had within breathtaking landscapes. The Azores truly is an adventure traveller's paradise!
